I welcome life with
youthful exuberance!
There is no room for boredom in my day … I am eager to be all I was
created to be!
This is a direct take from the Unity Daily Word—a wonderful tool adaptable
for any spiritual quest.
It’s a thought I’d like to share with all of you.
Another week in my life, with Carlos at my side
♫♪ how
wonderful is that?!
On Wednesday the Fenix was happening for Lynn
Asher’s Birthday Celebration! A gathering
of musical stars that rocked the house:
the house band with Fernando A,
Roscoe G, Michael W, Kyle, Larry V; and then Danny Click, Narada Michael Walden, James Moseley, Jack Prendergast, James
Nash, Cole Tate, Jake Baker—and a whole lot more!
Way happy to be there to share it!
Thursday stopped by the San Rafael Farmers’ Market and braved the chill for some yummy Key Lime Pie. Friday we began the evening at Northgate for the rockin’ Petty Theft, then went on to party with
friends at Sunnbolt Jam –a once-a-month treat.
Saturday at the Presidio Yacht Club, our awesome pals The Tickets Band packed the house—they lit it up, under the lights
of the Golden Gate. Wonder how long we’ll
get to enjoy this magical spot, before the Park Service takes it away and “gentrifies”
…
Sunday we got over to Magnolia Terrace for Firewheel,
a treat on a beautiful afternoon, in a gorgeous setting – thanks, Nick!
Gratitude to be in the midst of all this JOY.
Petty Theft Rocks
What plans for Carlos & Ellen this week? There’s so much freaking choice in our little
spot on the planet! Nothing firm yet
leading up to Saturday, but I just won a couple of tix for Andre Thierry at Osher Marin
JCC for Sat. night, and after that will head to Peri’s for some Zydeco
Flames. There are happenings at Trek Winery both Friday night (Factor 11) and
Sunday afternoon (Greg Johnson piano & art of George Sumner), so we’ll try to visit for some of that. And Friday is over
the top with choice of Danny Click, The
7th Sons, Doc Kraft, Sol Horizon, Bautista, Super Diamond – plus
all the free outdoor shows!! Sunday there’s Trek, and also Danny Click,
Lonestar Retrobates, Wendy DeWitt,
and – the list goes on and on!
Check out all the calendar listings below, find
yourself some good music and move your
body! ♫♪♫♪
Listen to the Music,
and Dance (like nobody's watching)!! ♫
And remember to TIP
our wonderful and talented MUSICIANS!
Also please support all the gracious venues that support MUSIC.
