Music Fun Week of Feb. 5-12, 2014

BLITZ is resting easy!

Looks like our friend BLITZ is chillin’ at his temporary home, which may become his permanent new loving home.  What an outpouring of love and hope from so many of you for this wonderful creature and for his family!  If that home does not work out for him, there is a kind soul waiting in the wings to help.  THANK YOU All.

Thanks to our friends The ZYDECO FLAMESFrank Bohan, Bruce Gordon, Lloyd Meadows, Timm Walker, and William Allums, and to MIRACLE MULE – for two awesome nights of music at HOPMONK Novato last weekend!

This week, on Thursday, it’ll be LUMANATION and Bobby G (and Saxy Susan Copperman!), with Iriefuse, at the Hopmonk for some upbeat reggae, celebrating Bob Marley’s birthday.  Friday Carlos & I are due at Sunnbolt Studios’ 1st Friday Jam—featuring Davey Pattison of Montrose & Robin Trower fame.  You can catch Zydeco Flames at Peri’s if you missed them last week; and Danny Click is back at Sleeping Lady!
Saturday there’s much music going on in Fairfax—a benefit for a young man severely injured on Christmas Eve—at 19 Broadway, Sleeping Lady, and Peri’s.  We might get down to Presidio Y.C. for The 7th Sons (with Debra Clawson guest vocalist!).  And Petty Theft at Rancho is tempting …

Please remember, it’s up to each of us to be responsible and CONSERVE WATER!

Find yourself some happiness with MUSIC!  Plenty of it out there! ♫♪♪
