UPDATES (since
Tuesday) in RED
June is bustin’ out
all over!
I can't resist adding another of Laura's fanciful fashions for your (and my) enjoyment. She made this for a Marin Symphony fundraiser we worked last week. You can see more at LauraMaeDesigns.com (aka Lilacs and Lace).
The weather is all over the place, but summer is in the air – lots of
fun and frolic to look forward to!
This past week had the pleasure of dancing with the California Honeydrops
at Hopmonk!
The music is back at Northgate, and Friday we heard the San
Francisco Music Club with Lorin Rowan and Jimmy Dillon and
company. Then we proceeded to TREK
Winery to dance to one of our favorite groups, The James Moseley Band.
On Saturday we saw a lot of you at the Novato Art Wine Music
Festival, where we heard Pamela Rose, and then after our shift at
the TREK Winery booth got to groove to Levi Lloyd on the
stage. On Sunday my feet were too pooped
to do much, until I rallied late afternoon, and made it back for Tom Rigney
and Flambeau!
This week I’m hopin’ Carlos will accompany me to the Corte Madera
Community Center on Wednesday evening for the Big Band Dance. There’s also The Four Teardrops as
featured act at Dennis Haneda’s Open Mic at Hopmonk.
On Friday there’s The Unauthorized Rolling Stones at Creekside
Tam Valley, to begin the evening.
Then on to Peri’s for some Soul Satellites, and maybe stop
by Hopmonk on our way home for a little Moonalice!
On Saturday there’s the daytime Marin Art Festival at Lagoon
Park for Stompy Jones and more Moonalice; and the evening brings
another toss of the coin for either Danny Click and the Hell Yeahs at
the Rancho, or the Presidio Yacht Club for Johnny Z and
Medicine Man; or how about some Black Market Blues at Hopmonk?? And there’s Revolver at Fenix,
and Jamie Clark & Cole Tate at Harmonia …
Sunday some more fun at Lagoon Park if we survive to enjoy Mari Mack,
Lorin Rowan & The Edge, and a little Lumanation. Mercy.
Stay tuned for more Summer Music listings … Creekside, Magnolia Terrace at Elks Club, San
Anselmo Creek Park + Art & Wine, Osher
Marin JCC, Marin Art & Garden
Center—and more!
Wishing good Health
& Happiness for y’all! ♫♪
Listen to the Music,
and Dance (like nobody's watching)!! ♫
And remember to TIP
our wonderful and talented MUSICIANS!
Also please support all the gracious venues that support MUSIC.
