Music Fun Week of Sept. 3 -- Recap; While I'm Away

Way too busy! But that’s better than the alternative …
The week in review, in a word: amazing!!  Hope yours was wonderful too!
After the toil of staining deck on Wed. and Thurs., the weekend just kept getting better, dancing to some of my favorite bands!  On Friday Carlos & I headed for the Seahorse for the James Moseley Dance Band -- James, Jack, Carrie, Haley, Doug, Jean, Marina, and welcome to Marlon—quite a show, what a par-tay!  Always a good time with this Band, and the many party-goers seemed to agree.   “I could have danced all night … ♫♪♫♪

Saturday, after a wine-tasting get-together, we found ourselves at Fenix for the Zydeco Flames – Frank, Lloyd, Bruce, Timm, William -- who sho’nuff lit the place on fire.

Sunday double-header with Rusty Evans (who never sounded better) at Magnolia Terrace, and then Danny Click & The Hell Yeahs! in San Anselmo’s Creek Park for more upbeat fun.

I hadn’t expected to get to Sausalito this year for the Art Festival, but thanks to the gracious gift of friend Connie, Carlos & I were treated to VIP passes on Monday.  We only heard the last bit of Pete Escovedo, but enjoyed the full sets of Pride & Joy and Tower of Power!!!  Awesome sauce!!

Hope all that groovy dancing will hold me, for in a few hours I will fly off to the East Coast, for my brother's care, and my 50th high school reunion.  I leave you for now with Mark Your Calendars (below)You can always go back to previous posts and click on the various venues to see what’s happening.
I’ll get back in the groove and deliver the next calendar for week of Sept. 24.

‘Til then, take care of yourselves and each other, and get out and move it – and if you can’t, have fun inside your head! ♫♪♪
