*Love the Life you Live, Live the
Life you Love!* --Bob Marley
Wishing you Love and
Health in this merry season. Prayers for those who suffer, and Hope that
a brighter future is ahead.
My thanks to the
Music-Makers and Sustainers who touched my Life this past week! The James Moseley Jazz Trio with Jack Prendergast & Steve Malerbi at the Panama Hotel on Tuesday
evening. On Wednesday the Corte Madera
Rec Center hosted the monthly Ray
Simpson Big Band Dance; and on Thursday we stopped by TREK Winery for the music & humor of Rob Sundberg along with friend Mike,
performing as Black Cat Bone. The Hopmonk Novato on Friday for Ghosts of Electricity--Mark Karan, Stu Allen, and the other great jammers, with an eclectic crowd of
dancers. And we rounded out the dancing on Sat. nite at George's, for two outstanding bands: The Edge with Lorin Rowan
and Jimmy Dillon; and Lumanation, fronted
by madman Bobby Galyan. Finally, on Sunday, dropped by Rickey’s for “17 Strings”—James Moseley
on 6-string guitar, Alex Markels on
7-string, and Jack Prendergast on
bass guitar. Lovely blessed week! And thank you, Carlos.
This week: Tonight
(Tues.) at the Hopmonk for Donny Mederos' Pro Jam, hosted by The Blues Diamonds with Special Guest Rob Thompson--virtuoso blues guitarist.
The rest of the week is musically fluid, no firm plans … perhaps Eddie Neon at the PYC on Thursday; Saturday there’s a party, and perhaps Todd Morgan & the Emblems--whom
we've never heard, but come highly recommended--at Nourish. More parties coming our way! Blessings.
