UPDATES in RED (scroll down)
How does it happen that I find myself in the midst of such
musical pleasure, week after week??
The Marin Symphony
Chamber Chorus concerts in which I happily sang at St. Raphael’s
were once again an uplifting experience, creating a segue into a joyous holiday season. And the parties Carlos & I made our way to on Saturday night and
Sunday evening were just as inspiring! Happiness is making merry with fun-loving
friends!
Earlier in the week, the crowd at Terrapin Crossroads on Wednesday night was awesome. Our first visit
to this venue, and won’t be our last. The Deep
Dark Woods with Phil Lesh
sitting in brought out quite a crowd on a school night! At TREK WINERY on Thursday eve the Herb
Marshall Group for some jazz; and on Friday night again at TREK
WINERY for a party sponsored by Doug DeSalvo, Novato
chiropractor, as appreciation to the community for the love and support they’ve
received after daughter Alanna’s accident 5 years ago. The young band, Moods of Melody, got the crowd on their
feet.
On Saturday after my concert we stopped by at a dinner party
given by friends, thinking it would be about over, but we rocked on til
midnight. A repeat after the Sunday concert, at another home graciously hosted
by a member of our chorus and her husband.
Music &
dancing plans for the week … How about Iron
Springs on Wed. for Rowan Brothers
& Jose Neto!? Friday will
probably find Carlos & I at Sunnbolt
(but I’m curious about the Overcommitments—and Danny Click is also in Fairfax); and
Saturday, after another house party, we’ll definitely get over to Sweetwater for Rudy Colombini & The Unauthorized Rolling Stones & some
shakin’!
There will be
more fun events coming at TREK WINERY – check on their Facebook page (Trek Wine): https://www.facebook.com/TrekWine?fref=ts.
Happy to see that Hopmonk
Novato is going strong!! And eagerly awaiting the opening of FENIX!
