Big Surprise—the Rain! Spoiled a few parties, rained on a few parades, but we made
it to another sunny day, didn’t we?!
When life hands you lemons, many of you know how to make lemonade ♫♪
Here’s a fun video I’d like to re-share – for no particular reason …
Enjoy!
Gratitude for the past week of Musical Pleasure:
Friday night at the last of the Pacheco outdoor concerts, with Spirit of
the Caribbean. Then on to Hopmonk for
some Pepperland with Lorin Rowan as the newest member, and lots of happy dancers doing their thing.
On Saturday we were Dee-lighted with The Mighty Groove at Trek Winery – a fantastic
turnout, wonderful party! (I wanted to re-post one of my favorite youTube clips, Groove is in the Heart--because they play it so well -- but it's blocked on copyright grounds ... wah!)
Sunday in Mill Valley: Millstock at 44 Bungalow for the James Moseley Band and Lovefool. Missed Michael White & Friends--Frank, Lloyd, Ted … as we ran back
& forth to the Art Festival in the
Redwoods to catch some Dave Getz, and Dore Coller with Hot Club of Marin. My cup
runneth over!
What’s to come for Ellen & Carlos this
week? Friday highlight is Rudy Colombini & Unauthorized Rolling
Stones at Georges; and just
across the street at Fenix is Wall Street Band – we’ll have to try to
get a taste of them as well. There’s also Danny Click & The Hell Yeahs
at the Lady, and Herb Marshall Group at Trek, and way too many choices on a
Friday night in Marin.
Saturday we’ll groove again to The Mighty Groove in the Beer Garden at Hopmonk (5-8pm), and then back for The Pulsators, with Sugarfoot
opening it up. There’s also Saturday
daytime special events: Woofstock at
the Humane Society with Unauthorized
Rolling Stones, and Doc Kraft Band
at a special POW/ MIA tribute & free BBQ at the Civic Center. And more for
a Saturday night!
Mill Valley is calling again on Sunday, with
the Annual Downtown Block Party and
lots of our faves …
And of course there’s so very much more than
that a-happening!
Listen to the Music,
and Dance (like nobody's watching)!! ♫
And remember to TIP
our wonderful and talented MUSICIANS!
Also please support all the gracious venues that support MUSIC.
