Music Fun Week of Oct. 15

UPDATES (since Wednesday) in RED
Plenty of fun this past week, thanks to:
Ray Simpson Big Band at Corte Madera Community Center on Wednesday;
Doc Roberts Strange Brew, new band from Miles Schon & Friends at Hopmonk on Friday, followed by
Cryptical with Stu Allen.  Drummer with Miles is son of guitar player with Cryptical.  Loaded genetic pools.  Plenty of dancin’ & shakin’.
Saturday with pal Dee up from Santa Barbara, took in the Zydeco by the Bay festivities at Dunphy Park.  Yay!  Then nighttime fun with Carlos at Seahorse and the James Moseley Dance Band.  Sweet! Funky!
Missed Danny Click, Doc Kraft, Elliott’s Evil Plan & Cathey Cotton, Rudy’s Party at Broadway Studios, The 7th Sons, Moonalice, missed a heap of other goof stuff … hope you got your dancin’ in!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – Deedle Dee & Ells Bells at Dunphy Park

There’s still a chance for the coming week.   For Carlos & me?  Lots of choices, we shall see what comes to pass … There’s Hopmonk Open Mic, Chime Travelers at Trek Winery, Dan Brown at Pub Republic, Tracorum at Hopmonk, Pocket Change at Peri’s, Way Far Bros at 4th St. Tavern, The Mighty Groove at Seahorse, Doc Kraft at PYC, The Tickets Band at Boyle Park, Blind Date at Trek, Sonoma Songbirds at Hopmonk – and I’d like to see the film Touching Home at Sweetwater, with twins Noah & Logan who lived down the street, and whose dad (on whom the story is based) touched my life.  And the Starduster Orchestra next Tuesday.

Take a look at the calendar—more than enough for everyone to enjoy!
